MARKET ANALYSIS
How much is my Schiaparelli bag worth?
July 31, 2026
Schiaparelli isn't a handbag brand the way Chanel is a handbag brand. It's a couture house doing surrealism, and under Daniel Roseberry the bags became small pieces of wearable art: gold anatomical locks, keyhole faces, molded gold hardware that looks like it walked off a runway because it did. So valuing one isn't like valuing a Classic Flap. The market is thin, the pieces are often close to one of a kind, and prices swing hard. Here's the honest picture.
The Secret bag
The closest thing Schiaparelli has to a signature everyday bag, with the gold padlock and keyhole hardware. On the resale market it tends to land somewhere around $5,000 to $10,000, depending heavily on size, leather, and whether it has the more dramatic gold detailing. See current numbers on the Schiaparelli Secret page.
The Keyhole bag
The little sculptural keyhole style, the one that reads as jewelry more than luggage. It holds a tighter band, roughly $5,000 to $6,500, with the mini and embossed versions at the higher end. Current data lives on the Keyhole page.
The Souffle
Softer and more wearable than the hardware-heavy pieces, so it moves a little more like a normal luxury bag. Estimates sit in the $5,000 to $9,000 range, condition and color doing most of the swinging. See the Souffle page for where it's trading now.
The Anatomy bags
The showstoppers. The anatomical jewelry bags, the raffia and shearling art pieces, the ones that show up on red carpets. These are the widest and least predictable of the bunch, generally $7,000 well into five figures, and the rare couture and raffia versions can go multiples higher because they're essentially collectible objects, not production bags. The Anatomy page has the latest.
What actually drives the number
With Schiaparelli, rarity does most of the work. Because so many pieces are made in tiny runs or as near one-offs, a single unusual example can trade far above the “typical” range, and there often isn't a clean typical to begin with. Condition matters more than usual too, since the gold hardware and molded elements are the whole point and they show wear. And be careful with vintage: there's a lot of older Elsa Schiaparelli mesh and novelty pieces floating around that are a completely different market from the modern Roseberry bags.

Figures are broad estimates pulled from recent public resale listings as of 2026, not appraisals or guarantees. Schiaparelli's resale market is thin and dominated by near one-of-a-kind pieces, so any single bag can land well outside these ranges.
